Evergrene is one of the largest gated non-country club communities in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, sitting on 400 acres of land, enhanced with large lakes and generously sized flourishing natural areas.

True to its name, Evergrene is distinguished by Audubon International as a Gold-Rated Signature Sanctuary in recognition of the community’s commitment to sustainable development, nature conservation practices, and healthy living environment for both wildlife and residents.

Who wouldn’t want to live in a community whose stated management practices say to following:

"Over 50% of our land area is devoted to upland preserves, landscaped buffers, common area green space and water bodies, including 3.2 miles of shoreline…. Both our common areas and landscaped yards are managed according to a comprehensive Natural Resource Management Plan approved by Audubon International. We minimize the use of chemicals (fertilizers and pesticides) to reduce effects on health and the environment... The palette of approved landscape plants was selected to reduce the need for artificial irrigation… Habitat enhancement projects occur regularly to make the community increasingly attractive to wildlife, and we have hosted botanical research studies and bird counts. (Cited from Evergrene.com).

Evergrene has 963 residences, from 2-3 bedroom condo-townhomes to 5-bedroom custom-built single-family houses.

The HOA fees here are noticeably higher than in most other communities in the area. However, property owners in Evergrene say that these fees buy them a fabulous country club living at a greatly reduced cost.

For starters, Evergrene boasts a 20,000 square foot clubhouse with a fully-equipped fitness center and an aerobics room, an expansive banquet hall, a library, billiard room, and a room for small children. It has an enormous resort-style heated swimming pool, two hot tubs, and a Tiki bar. For residents who value active lifestyle, there is a basketball court, four pickleball courts, a putting green, and a beach volleyball area, next to a splendid 36-acre lake with its own wooden pier. There is plenty of fun for Evergrene’s young children too, who can run around the community playground or play in the kids’ splash park (why go to expensive Orlando resorts?).
